Whats the best way to get better performance for my stock 1977 front brakes?

I would like to retain the original look (or as near as possible).

Use XS1100 or XJ1100 sloted disks........ dirrect bolt on......and some good pads...... some people drill the originals..... The slotted ones also get rid of the squeel.........

Check with 650Central, he has a very good selection of brake parts.

Anyone know of dual piston calipers that can be fitted? I have a Mikes light weight rotor to put on.
