i am aboutto install the pamco kit for an 81 650. the kit came with 4 bushings, 2 steel, 2 brass. where do they go? the directions are slim on how to install the advance rod and wieghts on late model motors.

so what are the steel bushings for? are they the same? do i use either one?
i understand from the link where to put the brass bushings, so i just dont use the steel? i know this isnt rocket surgery i just wanna be sure.

hoagy,

1. Install one of the brass bushings and the labyrinth in the cavity of the cam shaft on the right hand side, under the chrome cover.

The labyrinth is the steel "bushing". Just install one of them, after the brass bushing, in the right hand side.

Install just the bras bushing without the labrynth in the left side.
