Gidday all , looks like a great site , I am from Nth Qld in Australia. I have a 1975 XS 650 B . It has Boyer Brandstan ignition , 36 mm Mikuni round slides , 1977 front end and just fitted new calipers , twin free floating drilled rotors , braided lines and master cylinder from Mikes XS . I have just recieved my 750 kit from Mikes XS as well , will be fitting it in near future . The old xs has not let me down ever , great old bike. Look forward to chatting with you all soon.

I don't feel so bad now.

Is your XSB red or black? I just learned of the red ones offered down there. I also have seen a pic of an orange '73 TX, I would like to see more of that one.

Cheers Razar,
Nudude 53 my xs was black with a special fuel tank on it when I bought it for $1000 , I have fitted a standard tank , black with gold striping . Got it on ebay from the USA for $110 delivered. It holds 15 litres instead of 10 in the special. I think the XS1B were red , they are a few years earlier than mine.

I want one a red one bad, my brother owns a 75 as well but he ratted it out. Not beyond going back to stock though, thankfully.

Hey snap, welcome aboard. Post some pics of that bike of yours when you can.
Are you running 2 petcocks with that standard tank?

Welcome snap
and Hey Nudude why did you have to show the red 75, I like the black. It's so sharp I had to buy it as soon as it came out. No offense snap but if red was all they offered that year in the states I'd have probably bought the 750 honda. Enjoy the site and you'll find out soon enough, a lot of differing opinions are shared here w/ 1 common denominator...we love 650's
