Im only 5'7" so i think this will make the perfect length chopper for me. Im thinking DNA Springer 4 over. A custom Softtail with air ride. id like a 200 or 250 rear tire. Id like to do a seat simalar to the convertable seat on the new "Rocker" (when the wife wants to ride) And either mid or forward controls. Any pointers or info on any of these would be much appreciated.

I know its gona be a long project so i figured id start with the front and work my way back. If i go with the DNA springer front and harley wheel. Should i go with the rest of the harley handle bars and controls? Custom? Im pretty good at fabing and i can wire but have never tried to wire up all the bar controls. Any tips?

i can only speak for myself, but so far as handle bar switches go i only have two. left-off-right for the turn signals and hi-off-low for the headlight. i got the switches at radio shack for 3 bucks a piece and they were the easiest part of wiring the bike.
