Well here is my xs 650 i started it last october i had to do it on a budget as usual but would have it no other way i think half the fun of running one of these great bikes is the build i can say that now i am done but on a cold january night when your upto your knees in wire or just rasped your knuckles when the spanner slipped and your tea has gone cold well thats another story but its all good fun so thanks to guys for support and advice and i hope you like it stomper

Very nicely done. The paint on the tank looks great. I would have to have more padding in the seat though.

Love the ingenuity of the shoestring budget. Good job there stomper, we must be distant cousins. Ha! though I'd probably wear the old leather jacket while looking for a black vinyl couch that someone was tossing into the trash.

Makes my old butt sore just looking! But if you are ok with it man , that's cool. I like the all black motor. What are you doing for a tail light? Can you show a front and rear view? What was the model to start ? Looks like a standard. Saw somewhere a guy that put lights in the frame where the loop was cut off.

hi guys swoped the pics to show front&rear the light switch is one from an old bsa type lucus type the seat is not as hard as it looks i put a layer of memory foam on top and it works for me thanks stomper

thanks cpotts it a lucus type horn and hi/low beam for the headlight
