My '75 US import has frame No. 447- 100113, its a 'Roadster', the model the yanks call the 'standard' .
If your frame has the same passenger footrest loop as the picture here of mine then yours is the same model .
The UK bikes all had twin discs up front , yanks dont need them as they cant ride fast like us and they've got no bends in their roads ! Wink

Brakes? We don need no stinking brakes! Cool

Stomper11 I've seen that pic before, good looking bike. Is that the original swingarm? Or is it the swingarm and hub from 750? Fine job on the forward controls also. Hoo wooda thunk about turning the pivot arm over.

xs1961 I have dual set up I'd swap for that worthless drum on the front of yours. Cool

In yer dreams mate, Im keeping all of the XS1 drums Ive got..I dont like discs on older bikes , drums look so much better & work just as well in my opinion if set up right, and if they dont I ride accordingly..Did I mention I had THREE sets?... lol ... Wink

stomper11 are those passenger pegs under the brake rod pivot?
That swingarm just looked "fatter" to me.

xs1961 I'm seriously concerned for your welfare here. That drum just won't perform under dire circumstances. Not only that but the stress of all that inventory isn't good for your freewheelin spirit. Man I don't if I can sleep tonight this is weighing on me heavy bro. Tell ya what, last offer, throw in a (1) box of your carbs, and I'll take 2 of those front ends off your hands.
Remember it's all in your best interest that I even would consider this. Wink

3 sets ya lucky wanker!!

I used to snap up the XS1 drums for peanuts when no-one wanted them for about £30/$60 ..had about ten sets but sold them off one by one to fund other XS projects..Been offered £200 for one recently but darent let any more go..
..My cup overfloweth... Embarassed
