Can the baffels be taken out of stock 1980 special? Do the 2 int 1 systems sound and oerate better than stock?

They can be removed, which would be permanent. Or, if you are looking for a little louder, you can drill holes in the end of the baffles, until you get the desired soud.

Great thanks alot do you recomend a size hole 3/8th sound about right?

It all depends on what you are looking for. I would start with 1/4", and you can drill around the end cap. This should give it more of a megaphone type sound. If you want more sound, you can then enlarge the holes some more.

Bigger holes in the baffels will also make your neighbors love you even more........Won't need GPS either the cops can tell you where you are at....

I actually do like the stock sound of my 80 special think i'll just leave it till I get cash for ascot. Is that ascot system 2 into 2 I think it it but i don't see a pick w the right angle? (the one on mikes)

I think it is 2-1-2. Supposedly this will build more torque/HP. Kind of like the old Kerker 4-2-1 systems instead of the 4-2-2.
