XS-650garageusa.com is a pretty good site. Some of the people from here are there.
The XS650forum.proboards18.com is a smaller site, a good bunch of folks. |

On the first couple years they used a steering damper. It went thru the hole in the stem. A friction disc on the bottom of the trees, A long bolt up thru the stem, with the adjuster knob on top.

That is what lots of racers use, just a battery and ignition.
If you already have it wired, just pull the 20 amp fuse between the reg/rec and battery.
Pamcopete reccomends a 7.5 amp fuse for the i ... |

Srinath, yes the oil pump is located in the right cover. It sets lower than the oil level and the oil pick up point is in the sump filter. Your oil level would need to get very low or the bike laying ... |

Take all the Electronic ignition and the points ignition stuff sell it. Get pamcopete's universal ignition. You will be happy and your bike will love it. |

I think I would start by lubing the cable. A lot of problems can be cured by proper lubing of the cable and actuator worm . |
