is there any difference between the drum cover on a spoke wheel as compared to the mag wheel for an 81 xs? they both have it300 stamped on the inside of them and appear to fit ok. I am just wondering ...

what about chamfering the holes does it make a difference, just enough to break the edge it just seems so sharp when you drill it out. i don't want to be blowing through pads.

that is what i am looking into now yamaman i may have jumped the gun. the clutch cable is froze, it was pulled in and now is stuck and engaged, i will be pulling it tomorrow and seeing what happens.

I have been looking at the G&L Choppers rear brake conector it costs $75 dollars and looks to be bout $2 dollars for the stuff to make it yourself> any body here make one on their own?

it is made by AMERICANCLASSICMOTORS it is a new tank, it is smaller size 2.25 gal. where would I run the vent tube? I am guessing out and up the front of the tank by the bars

I just bought a pop up gas tank off ebay. it is a left side petcock but, up front on the right side there is another nipple. what is this for, is it a vent, do I need it or can I just weld it shut?
