ive had a dr the prob I had was seat height, im 6.1 but I hate tall bikes, I gave up on dual sports when seat heights went of 32 inches ,, while that bike looks great cept for the alien headlight (JMO ...

itll go, I just remember ones a bitch to get off but itll come, might lay the bike over a bit for better access, prob have to tap it to bust lose the Oring , they tend to stick over time.

stock harness is great if your keepin it stock, if your choppin id just start fresh and make one.
If you just google xs650 wiring diagram using IMAGE tab. youll pull up several.
