Dirka, that pipe is pretty good stuff, but it does need to be ceramic coated when your done. Not bad price's on the stuff,either. I've used speedway stuff, & was satisfied with it.

You can drill a small hole in the epoxy and glue a magnet the same size as the drill. Work's perfectly if you are in the same spot as on the TCI rotor.

You could allway's get the replacement petcock's from Mike's, and use the screen's that come with them for the first filter. Then a second filter on each fuel line between the tank & carb.

'81 does not have point's.TCI ignition system.And yes, it is best to store the bike on the centerstand, take's allot of the weight off the tire's, so no 'flat spot's' come springtime.
