i have tried 3 plugs.... when i test the plug against the engine, it works fine. I have only put 14 miles since i rebuit the carbs, but i am still going to go into it and check my different settings.. ...

Look through your yellowpages for a bike junkyard. I was able to find one up here in Fargo, North Dakota and it has been a lifesaver at times.

Well, I disconnected the alternator so that I had full voltage to my coils. I tested each side and.... no change in spark.... It is still so weak that I can barely get anything by putting a screwdrive ...

Thanks Phred. I was planning on trying that out tomorrow, but i wasnt sure if i would mess anything up by not having it plugged in. I will give it a try tomorrow and post the results.
