The KW guides need to be resized,the are made undersized during machining to allow your tolerances to be honed.Any machine shop should be able to re-size them. Do not drive those guides in,either pul ... |

Yamaha had just two camshafts for the XS,the 256 and 447 , as to why they've listed several valve settings is anyone's guess but these camshafts require moderate lash settings to provide a lube film ... |

There are several advantages to an air box over pods,the filters don't become as dirty clogging up restricting air flow,when caught in the rain they remain dry, you have more area of volume to draw a ... |

To lean out the mid range you raise the clip but you really need to find out what size pilots are in there. |

pilot jets are to big,should be in the neighborhood of 22s,what size is in them now. There's just now such thing as bolt on carbs out of the box,no matter who's setting the jetting up,maybe close but ... |
