Don't need to rejet with a full exhaust? I would think with all the extra power you would get, you would need to. |

No need for loctite as the tension from the springs should keep the bolts from backing out. Anti seize would be a good thing though. |

By adding pods, you are going to have to rejet the carbs, that is first. Most motorcycle carbs are pretty simple. I would start by pulling the tops off, and remove the diaphrams and needles. Rememb ... |

I ride mine about year round here in NC. Usually doesn't get below 30 much. Leave the corn to the cars, use the good stuff in your bike. |

Try next size up main jet. Sounds like it is starving for fuel up high. May want to check float level again as well. |

As to your chain issue, go with a new one, probably sprockets too. No need scrimping on something that can leave you and your bike stranded. |

Would go with the lower compression on the air cooled motor. Have seen other air cooled go with higher compression, but they usaully have an oil cooler as well. Kits should come balanced on the top ... |

The battery is dead. It should be at least 12.2V or higher. When you have low volts, it won't start. Not enough juice to power everything. Recharge the battery, and recheck your charging system. |

Is the fork tube turning? If it is, you can try tightening the clamps. If not, you may have stripped fork tubes. |
